Komori Yui is a positive-thinking girl who nevertheless is troubled by seeing spirits and experiencing poltergeist phenomena. Most otome game plots start out rather formulaic, cheesy, and generic, especially since it requires you to be introduced to a number of eligible ‘catchables’ as soon as possible.

But what is even creepier is her split personality which seems to suddenly appear when a talk about witches or occult comes about. It’s either a psychological compulsion, or a sexual desire. If you haven’t caught onto this just yet, Diabolik Lovers has developed a reputation for being incredibly rapey. This is a reputation it whole-heartedly deserves, on numerous different levels, from the vampires’ lack of concern with Yui’s Kasualapp emotional status to the genuine affection she develops for them as a result. I don’t think this show is rapey by accident. I think it was intended, in every conceivable way, to be a rape fantasy, with actual rape being replaced with fang-rape. And I can prove it, with one simple observation.
The game follows Ichika Hoshino, who is a rookie police officer, as she tries to solve a series of terrorist attacks by a group called Adonis while wearing a deadly collar around her neck. SADISTIC NIGHT’, except that it should be called ‘MR. SADISTIC BLOOD-SUCKING PERVERTED VAMPIRE RAPIST’. I’m not too positive about this aspect of the show, although it’s one of the best parts of it. The „story” basically consists of vampire porn scenes.
A second version of the game entitled Diabolik Lovers Limited V Edition was released for the PlayStation Vita on December 19, 2013. Like what I said about the art, the music is average at best. Nothing amazing, but still fits the show’s tone pretty well.
It’s highly likely that as long as more games are being released, Diabolik Lovers will also keep going as an animated series. Yui’s father requested that she live with the six Sakamaki brothers in an isolated mansion. However, little did Yui know that these six brothers, namely Shuu, Reiji, Ayato, Kanato, Laito, and Subaru, are all vampires. Upon her arrival, the brothers couldn’t understand why she’d choose to live with them, but shortly after, they decide to make her their “sacrificial bride” and use her to satisfy their carnal needs. After getting her blood sucked by Ruki Mukami, Yui Komori wakes up in her own room the next day. She enters the living room where the 4 Mukami brothers are enjoying dinner together.
The endings are split based how S or M you are. There are three endings, good, normal, and bad. Some scenes also have a section where you have to pick the two correct words out of the monologue in order to unlock the Heaven scenarios. The Heaven scenarios unlock after completing Ending 1. The V edition includes an After Story that you get after completing Ending 1. The V edition also includes some CG’s that have a touch feature where if you touch them in certain places, you get extra sound clips.
We have done our best in editing to make them all cohesive, but if a few scripts sound a little different, it’s because they were probably worked on by a different team member. This is definitely the worst anime I’ve seen that came out in 2013. Maybe if you’re fan of Vampire Knight , or a die-hard fan of the visual novel, I guess I can recommend this.

Yui follows her father’s orders and arrives at a mysterious mansion as the address had suggested. As she discovers what’s in the house, she meets the six Sakamaki brothers who don’t seem „normal” and learns that they are vampires.
